The Idlewild Swim Center (Idlewild Park Pool) is located at 1805 Idlewild Drive, Reno, NV (775) 334-2267
The pool is a heated outdoor 8 lane, 50 meter Olympic size pool which can be utilized as up to sixteen (16), 25 yard competition lanes, with additional lanes for warm-up.. This facility is the only one of its kind in the greater Reno area.
Driving distance from Mammoth Lakes is about 170 miles. Allow 4 hours driving time in good weather.
Directions to Swim Center
Proceed north on U.S. 395 approximately 166 miles to Interstate 80 in Reno, NV.
Keep right on to I-80 ramp at exit 68 and continue west on I-80 about 2 miles to the Keystone Avenue ramp at exit 12. Proceed south on Keystone -- stay in far right lane until you reach Riverside Drive. Do not go on overpass. Turn right on Riverside and continue about one block and turn left onto Booth Street Bridge, then take a sharp right turn onto Idlewild Drive. The pool is two blocks up on the right.
