Bishop Swimming Pool, home of the Bishop Stingrays Swim Team, is located in the center of Bishop City Park at 688 North Main Street (U.S. 395), across the street from Schat's Bakery.
There are numerous large shade trees and grass .. an ideal setting to host swim meets.

Driving distance from Mammoth Lakes via State Route 203 to U.S. 395, then U.S. 395 to Bishop is 42 miles -- allow an hour driving time in good weather.
The complex centers on a 25-yard competition pool with eight 8-foot lanes flanked by 11-inch washout gutters and Keifer anti-wave racing dividers. This is designed to smooth water during competitions. The pool depth is 3.5 feet at the shallow end and 14 feet at the diving end.
At pool side is a Colorado Timing System which clocks swimmers to 1/100th of a second while computing finishing orders and providing immediate printouts. Results are instantly flashed onto the timing scoreboard.
